Trent Williams, A'Shawn Robinson fined for altercation

Trent Williams and A’Shawn Robinson fined for an altercation during a recent game between the 49ers and Giants.

Williams avoided ejection despite a punch to Robinson's helmet, as the NFL couldn't confirm a closed fist.

Both players received offsetting unnecessary roughness penalties during the game.

Williams downplayed the incident, referring to it as a "love tap" and not expecting a fine.

Williams and Robinson each fined $11,473, the standard amount for unnecessary roughness.

Giants' Leonard Williams fined $16,391 for landing body weight on an opponent, and Jihad Ward fined $8,139 for unnecessary roughness.
