Lions coach pulls of rare achievement vs. Packers

In the final week of the 2021 season, the Detroit Lions defeated the Green Bay Packers 37-30 in a seemingly inconsequential game.

Despite their historical differences, this victory marked the beginning of a significant turnaround for the Lions under coach Dan Campbell.

In 2022, the Lions swept the Packers, including a crucial Week 18 win that ended the Aaron Rodgers era and eliminated Green Bay from the postseason.

The recent victory over the Packers made Dan Campbell the first Detroit coach to win four consecutive games against them since the early 1980s.

This streak of success against the Packers is a rare achievement for the Lions, especially in their longstanding rivalry.

With a 3-1 record, the Lions now lead the NFC North, as the Packers sit at 2-2, while the Bears and Vikings are both winless at 0-3.
