Kinlaw's patience paying off with increased role on 49ers' D-line

Javon Kinlaw, 49ers' defensive tackle, has faced a long journey to success due to chronic knee injuries since being drafted in 2020.

In his fourth season, Kinlaw is finally reaping the rewards of his hard work and determination.

He has recorded 10 quarterback pressures in three games this season, ranking third on the team.

Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks recognized Kinlaw's strong work ethic and allowed a five-man front during a recent game.

Wilks attributed the change to the group's lobbying and Kinlaw's earned opportunity.

Despite his past challenges, Kinlaw remains patient and eagerly anticipates his first quarterback sack since his rookie season.
