Khalil Mack's Historic Six-Sack Game Shatters Records and Stuns NFL Fans

Khalil Mack, playing for the Los Angeles Chargers, achieved a franchise record by recording six sacks in a single game against the Las Vegas Raiders, his former team.

This remarkable performance brings Mack's total to 9 out of 14 sacks while wearing the Chargers' uniform against the Raiders since his trade in 2022.

Mack expressed his desire to excel against his former team, given his history with the Raiders, where he was drafted in 2014 and spent four seasons before being traded to the Bears in 2018.

Mack's six-sack game is a rare feat in the NFL, with only six such occurrences recorded since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

The success of Mack's performance was attributed to teamwork and a rookie quarterback, Aidan O'Connell, starting for the Raiders.

Chargers coach Brandon Staley praised Mack's ability to rush the passer, highlighting his contribution with not only sacks but also tackles for loss, quarterback hits, and other defensive plays.
