Colts add WR KJ Hamler to practice squad

Receiver KJ Hamler, previously diagnosed with pericarditis, has joined the Colts' practice squad after being waived by the Broncos.

The Colts made the announcement on Saturday regarding Hamler's addition.

In addition to Hamler, guard Ike Boettger and receiver Amari Rodgers were promoted to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Rams.

Cornerback Darren Hall was released from the Colts' practice squad as part of these roster moves.

Hamler was originally a second-round pick by the Broncos in 2020 and had a productive rookie season.

In the previous year, he played in only seven games and had limited receptions due to his health condition.
