An actor has been charged with attempted murder following a brutal attack on a Hollywood makeup artist in her Sunland home. Nick Pasqual, 34, is accused of repeatedly stabbing his former girlfriend, Allie Shehorn, in the early hours of last Thursday. Shehorn, identified through a GoFundMe page, had recently secured a restraining order against Pasqual.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Pasqual fled the scene but was apprehended at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Texas. Shehorn was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries and remains in recovery.

The charges against Pasqual are severe: one count each of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and injuring a partner under domestic violence circumstances. Additionally, he faces allegations of inflicting great bodily injury and personally using a knife during the attack. If convicted, Pasqual could face a life sentence in state prison.

Pasqual, known for his roles in the TV show ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and the 2023 film ‘Rebel Moon,’ now finds himself at the center of a domestic violence case that has shocked the community.

District Attorney George Gascón expressed his sympathies for the victim, stating, ‘This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.’

The GoFundMe page set up to support Shehorn has already raised over $90,000 to assist with her medical expenses.
