American singer and rapper Lizzo recently expressed her desire to collaborate with Hollywood heartthrob Chris Evans on her upcoming album, but it seems Captain America might need a bit more practice before he tickles the ivories for the multi-talented artist.

During an engaging episode of the Spout Podcast last year, Lizzo unveiled her ambitious musical aspiration, stating, “I literally hit him up and was like, ‘Play piano on my album.'” She couldn’t help but burst into laughter as she recalled the exchange. “It would’ve been really cool! But unfortunately, not this time.”

Lizzo's Musical Dream: Collaborating with Chris Evans

Chris Evans, known for his charismatic personality, was swift to respond to Lizzo’s proposal when questioned about it during an interview with Extra. He modestly admitted, “I’m not good enough to play piano on an album.” With a grin, he continued, “I fool around on a piano, but in no way would I be qualified enough to actually play on someone’s album, let alone Lizzo’s.” He graciously acknowledged the offer, saying, “And that’s very sweet of her. No, no, I would need a few more years of lessons.”

This playful exchange is just one chapter in the flirtatious online relationship between Lizzo and Chris Evans. It all began in June 2019 when Evans praised Lizzo on Twitter, to which she humorously responded, “Wow, marry me.” Fast forward two years, and Lizzo took a bold step by sending a drunk text to Evans, capturing the conversation on TikTok and playfully advising, “Don’t drink and DM, kids.” Evans responded with good-natured humor, saying, “No shame in a drunk DM. God knows I’ve done worse on this app.”

Their flirtatious banter didn’t stop there. In August 2021, Lizzo added another twist to their playful exchanges by joking about Evans getting her pregnant. In a TikTok video addressing pregnancy rumors, she quipped, “This is something I’ve really been trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child. But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re going to have a little America!”

While Chris Evans may not be ready to join Lizzo’s album as a pianist just yet, their friendly online interactions continue to entertain fans, proving that even Hollywood stars enjoy a little digital flirting from time to time.
